Grouping & Passing Rules

Minimum 5 Subjects

You must select a minimum of 5 subjects to successfully pass and obtain the Senior Secondary certificate.

Language Requirements (Group A)

Select 1 or 2 language subjects from Group A (English, Hindi, Bengali, etc.).

Core Subjects (Groups B-F)

Select the remaining 3 or 4 subjects from Groups B to F based on your desired stream.

Additional Subjects

You may take up to 2 additional subjects, making a maximum of 7 subjects overall.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be 15 years of age as of 31st January of the admission year (for block 1) or 31st July (for block 2).
  • Must have passed Secondary (Class 10th) from a recognized Board.
  • A minimum of one year gap is required between passing Class 10th and appearing for Class 12th exams to get the certificate.

  • Recent Passport Size Colored Photograph & Signature
  • Valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Ration Card)
  • Class 10th Marksheet (Passed) from a recognized board
  • Valid Proof of Residence (Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Rent Agreement)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable for SC/ST/OBC)
